At 18, he recorded his first classical music CD. Khalil is pursuing the studies of humanities and sciences at Columbia University in the city of New York. Khalil has received classical training at the Long Island Conservatory. He was the lead pianist of the Conservatory’s Youth Orchestra at age 14. At 15, he received an "A " rating from the New York State Music Association (NYSMA), for performance at Level 6, its highest level for the Piano. For the past three years, he has been the protégé of Mrs. Veta Carter who is a graduate of the Royal School of Music of London, Trinity College of London and the Juilliard School of Music in New York.

Khalil performed at many social and religious functions. At St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay, he was a baritone singer for the Concert Choir and the pianist for the Chamber Orchestra. Khalil is Haitian-American and a native New Yorker. Born in 1985, his parents are William Savary and Yanick Chaumin-Savary. Khalil discovered the piano at the age of 4, and has been playing ever since. CD Back Cover
